Case Management

The Case Management Pilot Project is now a full-fledged and integral component of the court system. See Primer - Practice for a current review of the major features of the system.

A Case Conference is quite similar to a pre-trial, although the court takes the initiative by requiring that the first conference be set down upon the happening of certain events, or at the latest 90 days after the process has begun. The judge, who will not be the trial judge, has slightly greater powers than at at pre-trial. For more information go to our Primer on Practice and Procedure.
